All of our Glamping accommodation uses the Central Facilities Block (more details at the bottom of this page). All guests are welcome to enjoy the River View Deck, Gazebo and BBQ.

This unique tree house is raised under a giant Pear Tree with large deck and offers a restful Glamping holiday on a budget. Great birdsong and restful views of a Phoenix palm are found in this peaceful, bird-rich section of the tropical gardens. Deck furniture allows you to relax in comfort and enjoy the frolicking Fantails, Tuis, rare Kaka’s & great bird song. Please note: This tree house is our smallest Glamping unit. People who are over 1.8m tall may wish to consider some of our other accommodation options which allow for more space.
Rate includes two persons. Maximum capacity is 2 persons.

The Luxury, deck-mounted Safari Tents have been set up on prime, mainly garden-screened sites with river, inlet and park views. The concept is to cater for romantic getaways where you don't have to bring a thing. Each Safari Tent is fully furnished with furniture, double bed, rugs, linen, romantic furnishings, electricity and lighting. Bed linen and towels are all provided. All you have to bring is a torch!

We aim to offer a "wow factor" in terms of the tasteful decor, huge decks and amazing views. The Safari Tents have 3 distinct areas including a large deck with lounge furniture, sitting room with comfortable chairs, table, bar fridge & tea/coffee facilities, and romantically furnished bedroom with double bed and linen.

While these tents are normally only suitable for two persons (with our Family Safari Tents accommodating families) two of our Luxury Deck-Mounted Safari Tents have an extra single camp bed in the main bedroom. If you need to have a separate bed or are hoping to bring a third person please make this clear in your request, so we can check the availability of those tents for you. There will be an extra charge for any additional child or person of $20.
Rate is for two persons. Most of these tents have a maximum of 2 persons only. Two tents can accommodate 3 persons maximum. There is a charge of $20 per extra person per night.

We have three large, deck-mounted family Safari Tents all with comfortable furnishings. Each has rooms: two bedrooms plus living room with sofa, as well as an outside deck with seating. Each tent has furniture, electric lighting, small fridge, kettle and tea/coffee facilities. Bed linen and towels are all provided. All you have to bring is a torch!

Each tent has a slightly different configuration. They can all sleep 4 people in comfort and can cater for a 5th person with a fold out bed or sofa. We welcome you to enquire for more details of tent availability and specific bed configurations to suit your family's needs.

Two of our family tents have 2 bedrooms containing a double bed in each, and a comfortable living room area. One of these has a sofa in the living room area that folds down into a single bed. The other tent can have a camp bed put in the living room for an additional person if requested in advance. Our third family tent has two bedrooms with the following configuration: in the master bedroom there is a double bed and one single camp bed. The second bedroom has two single camp beds.

Rate is for two persons. There is a charge of $20 per extra person per night. Maximum 5 persons total.

The gypsy caravans appeal to those looking for an affordable romantic weekend. They have special interiors with coloured glass windows, plush textiles, lace and unexpected romantic touches. All the caravans have breathtaking water views, outdoor seating area and screened planting that offers privacy.

All of the Gypsy Caravans have outdoor cast iron baths, under the stars with water views, privacy screens and herbal/lavender bath salts. The outdoor baths cost an extra $20 per night. You can book this as an optional extra.

We have a total of three Gypsy Caravans. The gypsy caravan down by the river bank not only has an outside bath but also has its own, very private deck that sits out over a “playful” section of the river. The Gypsy Caravan closest to the water is the furthest from the facilities - so if you prefer a shorter walk to the facilities (toilets, shower, kitchen, etc.) please note that in your request to us.
Rate is for two persons. Maximum 2 persons total. Use of the outdoor bath and bath pack costs an extra $20 per night.

Glamping Bus Details

The Glamping Bus is a unique space with an interior redesigned with retro touches, beautiful Macrocarpa slab counter top, copper edging and denim fabrics. Originally a 4 FUN School Bus, the bus retains some of its original unique features such has pull down shades, a few top racks to store dishes, driver's seat and a sitting area with a couple of the original seats recovered.

The Bus offers a fun and comfortable Glamping Holiday for a couple or a family with space for 2 - 4 people (one comfortable, good quality Queen bed and two single beds) a dining area and kitchen (including full oven and stove top, sink, kettle, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery). The main bedroom is separated by a partition and is lined with sweet smelling Japanese Cedar. There is also a covered outdoor eating area in front of the bus. Surrounded by lovely gardens guests enjoy privacy and can enjoy watching local bird life in the neighbouring trees, bushes and plant life. Enjoy something different from the ordinary holiday with a bit of adventure and relaxation in our Glamping Bus!

This lovely retro caravan has one double bed and one very small single bed that also doubles as a window seat. Please note: the single is only suitable for a smaller person or child. The macrocarpa countertop and retro décor offer nice touches. The caravan has its own shaded deck with a lovely view down the river. There are basic utilities - kettle, tea & coffee, mini fridge. Bed Linen and towels are provided. Rate is for two persons. There is a charge of $20 per extra person per night. Maximum 3 persons total.

This is a renovated The Wheel House is a renovated Boat Cabin from an historic steam boat, The Minerva, finished with sweet smelling Japanese Cedar and French doors. There is a small private deck as well. The view includes subtropical gardens and a large Phoenix palm. The Wheel House contains a double bed as well as a single bed. The space is comfortable for 2 persons, 3 maximum. Tea and coffee making facilities, kettle and bar fridge are also provided in this cabin.
Rate is for two persons. There is a charge of $20 per extra person per night. Maximum 3 persons total.

The Boathouse is perfect for a romantic weekend. It has been converted into spectacular yet affordable accommodation, with heaps of character and two large rooms. There is a comfortable sitting room with kitchenette complete with bench top oven, hot plates, sink and tea/coffee making facilities. There are two single beds. The boating decor, complete with antique boating accessories, painted waves & clouds, high ceiling, Stable doors and Cedar finishes creates a unique ambience!

The next door, partitioned bedroom is lined with sweet smelling Japanese Cedar and has charming decor including model boats, bronze propeller, old travel trunks and rustic wall mounted textile. The Queen bed has a spectacular and high level view straight down the river through the shell of the old Slipway. Enjoy the ducks in the water below or dancing fantails and the occasional swinging possum in the rafters of the old slipway, just outside the large viewing window. There are two private decks with table and chairs, one with garden views and the other with river and garden views.

Please note that the ramp to access the Boat House, and to commute to the Central Facilities Block, is quite steep (with hand rail and anti-slip treads), so not recommended for the older persons or very young.

All Pagoda Lodge Glamping guests have use of the Central Facilities Block including well-equipped kitchen, hot showers, toilets and coin-operated washing machines and dryer. Although your Glamping unit may include a small fridge as well as some crockery and cutlery, etc. the Central Kitchen offers a larger fridge and freezer, pots and pans, more crockery, cutlery as well as an oven, stove top, microwave and toaster. Hot water for showers is available 7 - 9am and 7 - 9pm. All guests are welcome to also enjoy the River View Deck, Gazebo and BBQ.
